Fans of action films may be surprised to learn that Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw (2019) used Freemasons' Hall as the exterior of an exclusive London nightclub. As Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Jason Statham raced through another adrenaline fuelled adventure, Freemasons' Hall stood proudly in the spotlight.
Who knew the home of centuries old traditions could also host one of cinema's most high octane franchises?

The award winning Netflix series The Crown used Freemasons' Hall during its third season. The building doubled as both the Bank of England and a theatre in the episode "The Coup", proving just how versatile and impressive the location truly is.

The corridors and lobby of Freemasons' Hall featured prominently in The Hitman's Bodyguard, starring Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson. In the film, parts of the building were transformed into the International Criminal Court in The Hague.
Meanwhile, fans of James Bond may recognise the building from Spectre, while countless television dramas and spy thrillers have also taken advantage of its unmistakable atmosphere.

Perhaps one of the most fascinating transformations came in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Freemasons' Hall became an otherworldly temple on a distant planet, proving that its unique architecture can transport audiences anywhere in the universe.
